Monday, Nov. 08, 2004 - 9:47 p.m. If I was a maid, could I clean your flat? What I have been doing:Making and eating delicious kedgeree for the second night in a row - and better than ever before, with the addition of chickpeas [there never was any mackerel ... bleeee]. Reading Diaryland with the intention of getting it over with quickly before doing what I should be doing... What I should be doing: I have planned my I have not planned any whizzy answers. I am going to rely on my innate whizzy brain. *insert manic laughter here* Last time I did that I ended up giving a 'presentation' on the publishing company by painting it as 'OLD AND NEW' for its classics and contemporary literature, *flip chart to next sheet revealing* 'FOR YOUNG AND OLD' for its books for folk of all ages, *flip chart to next sheet revealing* 'FACT AND FICTION' for its - well, you get the picture. I did not get onto that graduate traineeship. I have had quite a few interviews this year (OK, two) and the more you plan, the less they ask you, and whatever you rehearse is not what is going to be featured. I think I should focus more on sleeping properly. What I am doing right now: Any hints/tips/witchcraft and spells to help me out tomorrow, even if it's just geting to NW1 in one piece, will be much appreciated.
