Socks are like sex - lots of it about and I never seem to get any

Do you ever meet couples and think, I just cannot imagine what your sex life is like? Not in a 'wow you must have such a hot sex life I can't even begin to imagine' way but a 'well, what do you do? Do you even do it?'. And not in a 'your my English teacher, of course you don't actually have sex!' way, but a 'wow, you're my mate and I can't imagine you doing it with your boyfriend at all' way.

I was thinking about this just now and admit it's hard to imagine any of your friends having sex (unless you're friends with Paris Hilton, obviozzament) but you reckon there's a place somewhere in your psyche that if you had sufficient regression therapy you might be able to access (though lord knows why). And also, why would you want to? Eeeeee. And further also, it's hard enough to imagine myself with the sex.

But some girls are going out with boys I can imagine them making house with, having a jolly time getting dinner together and delegating the chores, laughing over the same TV and discussion various election campaigns over dinner with, and yet NOT at all making the rumpy pumpy with.

What I really want to say, but feel ashamed in so doing, is gay boyfriend! Gay boyfriend!

one before - one after
