Monday, Feb. 28, 2005 - 12:30 a.m. What's There To Possibly Like? Oh look, yesterday I introduced What's Not To Like but today calls for What Can There Possibly Be To Like About That At All? Today's installment: definitely coming down with a cold on a Sunday when you'd booked Monday off as holiday. What can there possibly be that's good about that? Hein? And today the temperature was surely absolute zero, zero degrees kelvin - things were stopping existing because it was so cold. Don't talk to me about Canada or Siberia - Whitechapel today was stupid cold. And it definitely seeped into my bones and I'm still shivering. It also stopped my watch - I had thought it was 10.30pm so I made a last cup of tea before bed, and it wasn't until I'd poured it that I realised it was midnight. Bah. In spite of the cold, today was great bargain shopping: £3.80 for hot choc and bagel (OK not a bargain at all, but lovely all the same) £5 for 5 bunches of flowers - why go to the flower market before they're closing up? £4 for button earrings £3.50 for a new bracelet £2.30 for two half shandies and roast chicken crisps £My health for a day's foot traversing of all East London Wow it's suddenly occured to me how bonkers airflight is. The weight of 200 people plus all that metal, travelling at phenomenal speeds in the air...? Bonkers.
