Sunday, Feb. 06, 2005 - 9:27 p.m. Spring, hurray, hurroo Maybe I am alone here, but I definitely felt a twinge of spring in the air today. Actually, the three people I mentioned it to were mystified by the sudden spring (geddit) in my step. But I say, HURRAH for spring! I also say, hurrah for chocolate cake, pastries and cappucino, Desperately Seeking Susan, huge dinners and new contact lenses that don't scratch. I say hurroo for Mondays, unresponsive HR departments, massages not being on the NHS and knowing that spring isn't really here. Oh my god I'm learning so much from this top 100 videos program: Lasse Hallstrom cut his directing teeth on Abba videos! Toni Basil co-directed the vid for Once in a Lifetime! Jonas Akerlund, director of My Favourite Game, Sm@ck My Bitch Up, Ray of Light and Spun, ex-wunderkind is scarily un-hip and scarily unattractive. Just sayin'. Not what you'd expect of him. Oh, question from today that I probably could use Google to answer but hey, what's the name of that guy they used to wheel out for the R@dio 1 roadshows - Smiley something??
