My My Digital Camera
Hurrrrrrraaaaaaay Kath and Kim is on on Thursday at 10pm everyone! Thank goodness for the BBC!I got my birthday present from my dad this weekend: a shiny lovely new digital camera. So I've been playing a bit tonight and just taking photos of what's around me: my lounge.
Here is a funny-angled picture of my 'dining' table with a) my work-in-progress scarf and b) copy of Jeff Lewis' 'Guff'. My mum taught me a new method of sewing in your loose ends, a way that she came up with herself in her youth. Hurrah. However, if you look carefully you'll see many ends that are not yet sewn in. They will be.
And this is a peek into my kitchen from near my 'dining' table. Main feature is my small bookcase that holds a large number of travel guides, lots to places I've not been (eg Romania) and duplicates of places I have been (eg 3 for New York, 2 for London). Also there's my pretty apron hanging up and tiny kitchen dust bin.
Pretty rubbish for a first attempt but it's a first attempt, yes.
