Impossibly close

Fucking hell. McCririck advocating 'cleavage sex'?! NEVER AGAIN.

The c*m face of a McCririck? BLEEEEEEEEE. WORST IMAGE EVER.

So I saw Cl0ser tonight. I have never seen Juli@ Roberts look so beautiful or act so well. But then I do tend to stay away from her films cos she's usually in bobbins ones. While they've been saying it is Portman's coming of age film, I was certainly impressed by the commanding woman Roberts portrays.

That said, she's also a completely flawed character. I started watching the film thinking, this is one brilliant woman, but she soon tarnishes her report card. And the same could be said for every character in it. And I guess that's a good reflection on real humans. It's a pretty bleak thing. But also very entertaining.

And Portwine was just as annoying at the beginning as she was in G@rden State, but she definitely did improve. And she got her Leon-era look back! She is very hot. Gosh the casting was good (although I would have prefered Kate Ashfield in Portwine's role, and I was shocked to see Cl!ve 0wen smiling - it doesn't become him.)

I was glad to see it's still very much a London movie, with the Americans drafted in for the trans-Atlantic appeal.

Remember when I met the cast? Although I didn't realise what they were all doing together at the time. And I didn't realise that the blond woman next to Jude was Julia, or the man in front of me was Clive.

In other news, I have a new favourite mug, because I had to kill time before the film and Habit@t had a sale on,

one before - one after
