Sunday, May. 01, 2005 - 1:04 p.m. Birthday boozing I'm sick of hangovers. Even little ones. I have a little one now and there's really too much to do at weekends than spend them feeling rubbish. This is a minor one but I had to turn down a delicious organic fried breakfast that was offered me from rough-feeling. Bah.This might be also to do with that in New York I ate so much I really won't need to eat a proper meal again for another forty years. Grough. This weekend has so far consisted of 30th birthday do (drinking), sleeping until 1.30pm, pottering, 27th birthday do, sleeping until 11 and refusing a lovely breakfast. Anyway, what now seems to be my favourite way of celebrating a birthday is when birthee's culinarily talented boyfriend who lives in a really lovely flat, invites girlfriend's attractive and witty friends and me round for a delicious meal. Ooh and extra bonus points come from being seated next to a New Yorker and being able to talk about New York all night. Erica, I asked if he knew you because he went to NYU too and knew your Broome St residence. But he didn't know you. Sad face. Oh god I'm going out cycling now - do I have to wear a rain cape?
