I have a fantasy government in my head - the people I wish were running the country. I've not filled all the positions yet, but the Prime Minister will perpetually be Jeremy P@xman. Other cabinet ministers will include John Snow, Michael Buerke and that other ex-newsreader who became a politician anyway and I can't believe I've forgotten his name.I'm making a new appointment tonight, and that's the Minister for Education, who will be Adam H@rt-Davis, because who could not be charmed and educated by his loveliness?
J@rvis Cocker might be Minister for Music.
No idea who the business captains would be because I'm watching The Apprent!ce and these fourteen bright young business hopefuls appear to be the most odious personality types - brash, overbearing, competitive, overly self-confident and entirely lacking in humility. The world needs them but I would rather not have to deal with them.
Which brings me onto the lunch I had with my encouraging boss today, about how I just don't really know where I'm going or where my passions lie.
Passions in any area of my life, I guess.
